It certainly is a fact that actor Will Roberts has been enjoying great success in the entertainment industry, and if his latest roles are any indication, he will be a talent to keep a close eye on.
Roberts recently starred in and produced the film “Signal,” which has won Best Smartphone/Drone Film at this year’s EyeCatcher International Film Festival, and also won an award at NSAEN Online Film Festival. The project was written and directed by two-time Imagen Foundation Awards nominee Diogo Morgado.
Roberts also recently played a supporting role as bounty hunter “Gringo” in the recently released international Netflix original film “O Matador” (“The Killer”). Set in the early 1900’s the film centers on a feared assassin named Cabeleira, who was raised by a killer in lawless badlands, and is caught in a war between bandits, a greedy landowner and a soldier bent on revenge.
This is the first Netflix film produced in Brazil, and Roberts was the only American actor in the film. Other recent acting credits for Will Roberts include the film iBOT due out in March 2018, “Desert,” written and directed by Zack Kasten; The West & the Ruthless and the Brazilian film “Não Se Aceitam Devoluções.”
Roberts has previously worked as an on-air “FOX Kids” host, played roles on such television shows as Investigation Discovery’s “The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead,” and the two-time Primetime Emmy Award nominated ABC series “Last Man Standing,” among others.
