In-person open casting call for Amazon series ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’

The two-time Golden Globe Award winning Amazon series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” has scheduled an in-person open casting call on April 28, 2018. The open call is for extras to portray 1950’s Catskills resort staff and guests. The show follows a housewife in 1958 New York City who discovers she has a knack for stand-up comedy.

All talent must have legal eligibility to work in the entertainment industry in New York and in the United States. That information can be found here. This show needs people to play 1950’s Catskills resort staff and guests. Must have 1950’s appropriate hair or be willing to get haircut. Must be ok working around smoke, and have NO allergies to wool.

No experience necessary. Be prepared to have a digital photo taken. This casting is for paid background/extra work. If you have one, bring your headshot & performance resume (not required). Both SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent are welcome to attend.
