Members please note: “Gossip Girl” is being produced for the CW. It is the first SAG episodic series to be produced in New York under the WB and UPN Supplement, which is a hybrid of SAG and AFTRA terms. (Several shows in Los Angeles including “Everybody Hates Chris” have been produced under this agreement.) Points to keep in mind when considering employment:
• There is no limit to the number of background employed on any day – many more work opportunities for SAG members.
• Rate of Pay is $98 for 8 hours.
• All contributions made to the SAG Pension & Health Plans – counts as more than 1 day of work towards the minimum number of days needed to qualify for benefits.
