“The 15:17 to Paris” is currentluy shooting scenes in the Atlanta, GA area. After shooting in Atlanta wraps, there will be additional filming in Los Angeles, Paris, and in Venice, Italy. Four-time Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood is directing “The 15:17 to Paris” from an adapted screenplay written by Dorothy Blyskal based on the autobiography “The 15:17 to Paris: The True Story of a Terrorist, a Train, and Three American Heroes” by Jeffrey E. Stern, Spencer Stone, Anthony Sandler, and Alek Skarlatos. 1st AD is David Bernstein. Eastwood will also produce along with Jessica Meier, Tim Moore, and Kristina Rivera. Executive producer is Village Roadshow Pictures CEO Bruce Berman.

“The 15:17 to Paris” tells the true story of the three Americans who stopped a terrorist on a train bound for Paris. In August 2015, an ISIS terrorist boarded train #9364 from Brussels to Paris. Armed with an AK-47 and enough ammo to kill more than 500 people, the terrorist might have succeeded except for three American friends who refused to give in to fear. Spencer Stone was a martial arts enthusiast and airman first class in the U.S. Air Force, Alek Skarlatos was a member of the Oregon National Guard, and all three pals proved fearless as they charged and ultimately overpowered the gunman after he emerged from a bathroom armed and ready to kill. They most certainly averted a mass tragedy.
