The show stars Image Awards winner Gabrielle Union playing the title role of Mary Jane Paul, and centers on her life as a young black woman, her work, her family, and the popular talk show which she hosts. Two-time Writers Guild of America WGA Award nominee Erica Shelton Kodish now serves as the show’s executive producer and showrunner. Also executive producing is Primetime Emmy Award nominee William Packer. Being Mary Jane season 4 is set to premiere January on BET.
