Becoming a professional actor!

I want to post some information about what is considered to be one of the most difficult professions, acting. It is very important to know that acting as a profession is not an easy pursuit by any stretch of the imagination. One thing to keep in mind is that regardless of the many roadblocks, the huge walls that stand in front of you, the many difficult challenges that come with the pursuit of a professional acting career… you yourself can create a certain amount of opportunities and successes by simply working hard, staying focused, staying positive, and maintaining faith in yourself. Yes, success in the acting profession does have a great deal to do with luck, being at the right place at the right time. More so than most professions. But do not pay any attention to the naysayers, negative people, those who are non-believers in your abilities to succeed. Only focus on the important tasks necessary that are in front of you. Do not have fear of failure, because failure is part of the acting profession by nature, and simply “fall forward” when you falter. Always keep moving forward, and learn from mistakes. Even when you are a very successful professional actor, you will still falter at times. It takes a lot of confidence to get up there and blow out an awesome performance, just never lose confidence in your abilities, and especially yourself when you experience setbacks. The rewards are profound when you are successful as an actor. Understand the odds, know about the challenges, and never accept failure at any point as a reason to stop finding those great rewards as a successful professional actor!
