Summit Entertainment has announced that it is giving one lucky fan a chance to win a trip to the set and a chance to appear in New Moon. Just record and submit a one minute video telling Summit why you deserve to be part of New Moon, complete the entry form and make sure to submit it by March 20, 2009 in order to be considered.
If you are picked, you and one guest will travel to Vancouver on or around May 5, 2009 to visit the New Moon set and have a chance to appear in the film. You must be 14 years of age by February 26, 2009, open to all legal residents within the 50 United States and Canada, and there is a limit of one entry per person.
Your submission MUST:
Be in digital format (.mpg, .mov, or .wmv file format, with a maximum file size of 50MB), and have a sharp picture and good contrast.
Explain or demonstrate why you, as the Entrant, deserve to appear in the original motion picture New Moon.
Be no more than one (1) minute in length. (Submissions over one minute in length will be disqualified.)
Target an English-speaking audience.
Here is what the video criteria will be judged on:
Creativity
Show your inventive side and think outside the box!
Originality
Be unique and different, make yourself stand out.
Clarity of Expression
Speak clearly and articulate your points well.
Submissions will be awarded from 1 to 100 points in each category, for a total of 300 possible points. All decisions of the Judges are final and unappealable. Non-winning Finalists will not be eligible for any prize, but their submissions may be featured on the New Moon Official Web Site.
