A TV series featuring actors from around the country competing in various categories for staring ensemble in a 1/2 hour comedy pilot as well as staring role in a play to open in Los Angeles or New York.
The series is the audition process. Actors compete in the categories of: monologue, improv, stand up (jokes provided), and singing a capela. They are graded 1 to 5 in each category and the top scores move on eventually to the finals held in Los Angeles where the finalists continue to compete in the categories, but, also do scenes together, and with well known actors. The finalists compete for ensemble roles in a 1/2 hour comedy pilot, as well as staring in a play that will open in either LA or New York. The final show is the stars of the play reading their reviews from opening night, then the new season begins again with new actors. The play has it’s own run based on demand and tours. The 1/2 hour comedy ensemble are cast in a new comedy series for TV that will have it’s own run.
Even though most actors will not be finalists they will still get exposure to casting agents and project developers for TV, commercials, Film, and Plays. The Audition has already taped in Seattle, Portland, San Diego, and Chicago.

Prepare: 2 minutes each of: monologue, song acapela, we will give you a improvisation game, stand up comedy (you can get jokes on line or library) / Location tba with your appointment (Hollywood CA. on Santa Monica Blvd. with good public tranportaion access and adequate parking.) The TV show is the audition process graded 1 to 5 in each category.
