“Pretty in Pink” star Andrew McCarthy is one of the stars of a new film called “Intent” that will begin shooting in Livonia, MI on Nov. 17, 2008. Producers are holding an open casting call for the suspense thriller from 2-6 p.m. Sunday. They’re looking to fill extras roles and some speaking parts.
The director is Detroit native Josh Becker, who worked on “Xena: Warrior Princess” and is a longtime pal and collaborator with “Spider-Man” director Sam Raimi.

Plot Summary:
Intent has been described as a combination of Silence of the Lambs and CSI. The story begins with a kidnapping in a suburban neighborhood which leads police on a manhunt that comes full circle.
