Within the world of entertainment, there are a number of actors who can be considered in the category of “under the radar” or “best kept secret.” Mike Provenzano has the magic three that are a true marker for success: a pleasing physical appearance, a wide range of real and raw emotion, and a passion for performance art. He is slowly but surely going from undiscovered to in demand.
Mike Provenzano has put forth some fantastic dramatic performances within his last three productions. “Tit for Tat” is a short film that centers around the challenges that can occur from concussions. Written and directed by Ken Zelenakas, Provenzano was cast as an emotionally elusive NFL Commissioner.
The film received a nomination for Best Dramatic Short Film at the Art is Alive Film Festival in 2017, and a follow up is being shot in 2018. His second film, “Cage the Bear 2: The Black Bang,” centers around a group of hackers who join forces with aliens to take on Russian terrorists. Produced/written/directed by Adrian Horodecky, Mike played the role of a Government Agent. His third appearance was in “A Crime To Remember,” an Emmy Award winning Investigation Discovery crime-drama series, in which he was performing as a police officer.
As for future acting, Provenzano is set to star in the series pilot “The Door,” in which he will be playing a police detective. The show centers around gang culture, and the police are working on ways for members to secure a safe escape from this dangerous environment.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Mike Provenzano graduated Bensalem High School in 1984. His initial interest in acting began at age 22, however, he decided not to pursue his dreams at that time. Instead, Provenzano carved out a path for himself in the corporate world, gaining both success and a sense of financial stability. Based upon the recommendation of a well-regarded friend, he decided to pursue print modeling. This lead to Provenzano signing with the MMA Agency in July of 2016.
Provenzano has continuously performed in countless numbers of commercials and public service announcements. He is considered to be one very versatile voice-over performer. He has even been able to book his six year old son, Ethan, on a modeling job. This past summer, they both spent time doing some work for Chico Car Seats. More recently, they solidified a second print job/video shoot in “DrFrid Insect Repellent Clothing for Kids.”
In addition to auditioning for acting, modeling, and voice-over work, Mike Provenzano continues to strengthen his skills in all areas of entertainment. It appears that he is well on his way to becoming a better trained and more thoroughly prepared performer. He also gets a gold star for being a wonderful family man to his wife and their four beautiful children – and no acting is involved with this labor of love.
Mike has adequate representation in the northeast area through Posche Models and most recently Ramona’s Models and Talent. He has also secured international representation with Paradigm Artist Management.
